( College Fix ) A feminist student group recently filed a Title IX lawsuit against the University of Mary Washington that alleges the college failed “to protect them from a sexually hostile school environment.”
But the university denies there is a “sufficiency of evidence” to support the group’s claims.
Members of the group Feminists United at the University of Mary Washington filed the lawsuit against the university and its former president Richard Hurley on May 4. The plaintiffs allege that the university violated Title IX and the 14th Amendment when they did not take sufficient action against offensive speech by male students at the university.
Most of the speech occurred on the social media app Yik Yak, where users could post anonymous messages (known as “yaks”) to others in their geographical area.
The lawsuit classifies many of these messages as “overtly sexist and/or threatening,” and Feminists United claims that by…

Thousands of people have dropped off the food stamp rolls in Georgia as a result of the state implementing work requirements for food stamp recipients.
More than half of the 11,779 people enrolled for food stamps in 21 counties, an estimated 7,251 people, have dropped out of the food stamp program—a drop of 62 percent, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Georgia first rolled out its work requirements for the food stamp program in three counties in January 2016. Since then, the state has expanded work requirements in an additional 21 counties, giving people in those 21 counties until April 1, 2017 to find a job or lose food stamp benefits.
Those who receive benefits must work at least 20 hours a week, be enrolled in state-approved job training, or volunteer for a state-approved non-profit or charity.
State officials say the plan is to extend the work requirements to all 159 counties in Georgia…

May 25, 2017 “Information Clearing House” – It would be funny if it were not so sickening. US President Donald Trump’s whirlwind tour through the Middle East was a “triumph” of make-believe rhetoric over reality. Donald “the peace-maker” is sowing decades of further violence in the war-torn region.
The horrific repercussions of American foreign policy are all around us, from the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories to the ongoing wars in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, to the latest terror attack in Britain where 22 people were killed in a suicide bombing at a concert in Manchester.
With a typical inane understanding of the web of international terrorism that American foreign policy has generated over many years, Trump glibly condemned the bombing atrocity in Manchester as the work of “losers.”
Trump – on his first overseas tour as president – regaled Middle East leaders with…

It was mid-November, 1991, late at night, and two amatuer photographers stood at Polmont Reserviour, to take pictures of the BP chemicals plant in Grangemouth. Somewhere amid the illuminations of the chemical pyres and towers, they noticed two small, dimly flashing lights over near Kincardine Bridge, a couple miles west of the plant, and assumed they were from the large pylons there. Then, they changed their mind and agreed it was a helicopter, as it flew slowly from the bridge to hover over centre Grangemouth. In the still of night they noted this craft, whatever it was, was emitting no sound. At roughly 2,000 feet above the ground, it suddenly dipped and flew towards them, briefly sitting about 200 ft above their heads, before flying off. This was one of the first major sightings to take place in the Bonnybridge Triangle.

I think you mean well, but accuracy is important when discussing these topics. If you are w Virgo, then you understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail. Otherwise you will find that people think your work belongs with conspiracy theories and UFOs.

As the UK hunts down members and friends of a Libyan immigrant family after one of its British-born sons committed the worst terrorist atrocity on U.K. soil in 12 years, across the Atlantic the atrocity also highlights the dangers that made President Trump include Libya on the list of countries included in his much-maligned travel ban.
NATO: Little man French President Emmanuel Macron ignored Donald Trump’s invitation for hug, went to embrace German Chancellor Angela Merkel instead.
When Macron finally reached out to shake his hand, Trump gave him a handshake that made the manlet look like he had a noodle for an arm.
